Carry-on packing is an art. Whether plotting a Riviera weekend or staring down the indignity of hold luggage priced higher than the flight itself, it demands patience, precision and, crucially, a suitcase that can keep up.
Since its debut in 2018, Montblanc’s #MY4810 trolley line has graced airports across the globe. And under the creative vision of artistic director Marco Tomasetta, the collection’s cabin trolley has a refreshed look for spring/summer 2026. The proportions remain compact and a lightweight polycarbonate shell keeps things agile, while 360°-rotating ball-bearing wheels and a telescopic handle ensure a seamless dash from security to gate.

This season’s iteration, however, is cloaked in a velvet green Corteccia sfumato leather with a soft gradient finish; a nod to the gentle saturation of ink on paper and an elegant tribute to the maison’s 120-year heritage as a pioneer of the pen. A matching Weekender Bag and Thin Briefcase create a handsome travel trio.
Tomasetta, who has designed leather goods for Givenchy, Prada and Louis Vuitton, understands texture and form. Elsewhere in the collection, a suite of leather pieces transform the ritual of writing into something wearable. The new Envelope medium notebook holder is designed to fit a Montblanc medium notebook within, while a dedicated slot on the exterior keeps a writing instrument close to hand. Meanwhile, the 1-Pen Loop necklace also ensures inspiration is never out of reach, designed to be worn around the neck or clipped to belts and bags.
